Nava’s research interests include cultural trends in religious belief and disbelief, with a focus on how these processes interact with social-ecological factors like inequality and mobility.
Jaclyn (Jackie) Lisnek
Graduate Student
Jackie is interested in understanding and reducing bias and prejudice across a range of contexts including the political sector and the criminal justice system. For instance, she has examined racial and gender bias against political candidates, and seeks to understand and mitigate the factors that contribute to racial disparities in policing.
Sharla Biefeld
Graduate Student
Sharla's research interests include the development of stereotypes and perceptions of discrimination in children and adults, the psychological mechanisms related to gender, race, and class disparities, and research related to intersectionality.
